Stays 31-17. BG has to get something soon to stay in this one.
Game is over. BG isn't scoring another point in this one. Offense is going to once again hold this team back this year and it's because of poor QB play. Just hope there aren't any long term consequences with all these guys cramping.

Record low attendance for a modern era football game at the Rose Bowl. 27,143.

I said a month or 2 ago. This marriage to an average qb at best only going hurt our qb play in future years. This game would be shootout with a second or third team Mac qb.

Silver lining today is a lot of the depth guys on defense got into the game because of all the cramping issues. That and the special teams play have been bright spots.

Receivers have not done well getting open at all, either. I don’t think the O-line has been horrible, but McDonald and the receivers have earned Fs from me.

Defense has been outstanding when you consider the amount of time they have had to be on the field in this heat.

I haven’t seen a UCLA kid cramp up yet. Can’t explain that at all, but just an observation.
It’s not my point of view, it’s a fact.

Only at Bowling Green do you hire an offensive coordinator who is a former quarterback, and 4 years later he still hasn’t developed a backup quarterback. Bowling Green fired Jinks early to have first shot at guys like Jim McElwain. Instead, it hired a guy from Boston College and got 4 years of a Boston College 4th stringer, so Kit Hughes could help his chances of getting back to Boston. Next up, selling us the next next Dave Clawson.

EKU gave a better than us Eastern Michigan team fits in week one. Our kids are taking a physical pounding in this one. Feeling uneasy about next week

I can’t remember which article it was about Moose being fired, but it was hinted that BG tried to go for a bigger fish like McElwain but the rebuild scared away most of the people they approached.

I'm uneasy if Robinson doesn't get his waiver approved. Zimmerly can't play center. Most important position on the line.

I’m shocked they even played this game. It’s 106°!

So instead McElwain took over a program that went 1-11. Yep, poor Bowling Green could hardly get anyone to be interested in being coach. So it basically had to hire Loeffler. Yeah right. Had Loeffler not been hired by BG he likely would have been fired at BC and Colorado St with Addazio and son.

I don't think this team will be bowl eligible.
