I worked PT at the Toledo Museum of art for a spell...when the Director left, they took months to find a search company and then it took them...IIRC...almost a year to find a replacement. They hired an Associate Director who had left a little over a year ago.

Truax is a member of the Football Championship Subdivision (FCS) selection committee and is one of 10 FCS athletic directors tasked with determining the 24-team FCS playoff bracket. He also serves as Chair for the football athletic directors in the Patriot League.

To me, the decline in the "every day donor" is a direct result in the departments lack of engagement. The attitude over the last decade has been more of those who can give us a million or two now are the focus and everyone else can pound salt. That is a culture issue and must be addressed before those donor dollars will increase.

Told today that things are down to a handful of candidates. University and CSA taking their time to find the right person. Expectation is an announcement sometime after Thanksgiving, likely early December.

I’m hearing much sooner than that. In person interviews may be completed. Decision in the next couple of weeks.
