Just think of the dysfunction and incompetence since Clawson took the Wake Forest job. Mike Elko was here, and didn't even get real shot at the job. Check out his start at Duke. When egos like Kingston and Hughes run your department and go unchecked for that long, you get a burning dumpster in the end.

Mike Jinks was Kingston's hire. Hughes didn't approve the hire. Kingston was out there bragging about the hire.

Dino Babers was Kingston's hire. Hughes worked for NC State at the time. In fact some in the department wanted to retain Elko.
