This is likely to be a very dumb question, but it looks to me like the university changed the "color" used for orange. The new "orange" has more red in it. I prefer the old orange, but the marketing people never asked me for my opinion. How long ago did it change? Was it recent or was it a while back and I'm just getting around to noticing it? Why would they do that? Is this version of orange cheaper to produce on uniforms?

It seems like every year the orange changes. It goes from a burnt orange to camo orange in a blink of an eye.
