Orth found out at 8:30 last night that he was starting, so he is doing pretty well all things considered.
It’s not my point of view, it’s a fact.

He's getting important snaps today should McDonald miss any more time. For the most part he's done alright.

This freshman tight end, Harold Fannin, is having quite a day. He scores. It's 38-14 now at the start of the fourth.

Fannin has shown some moxy today replacing Sims. Hopefully MSU gets their subs in and this 4th quarter goes fast.

Kent not being blown out through 3 quarters is impressive.

With leach as coach I doubt it.

Going for it on 4th down when you’re up 31 is an interesting move.

Falcons wind up pushing as the final spread was +31. Over wins. All told pretty much what most of us expected. It was good to see Orth be able to move the ball a couple drives.

Time to get healthy for MAC play.

We did that against Temple years ago when we were up big on them rather than go for a field goal. It is what it is, as someone else said.

Hopefully we can get healthy and pound the Zips next weekend.

Next week has the feel of a must win game....if we lose to Akron, getting to 6-6 will be almost impossible

We need five more wins. That's difficult to imagine without a win over Akron. I like our chances next week.

Toss up game. Both teams have play makers but struggle to put together a consistent 60-minute game. Wouldn't not be shocked if BG was a dog since it's a road game.
