With the only "true" seniors being Pitters, Rose, and Coyle (3rd year here), only change I could forsee would be throwing a rare letter at Rose. Normal times, I could see Collin, Scardina, Fyten, or Malmstrom earning a letter, but these are not normal times yet.mbenecke wrote: ↑Mon Sep 19, 2022 3:30 pmNothing public, to my knowledge.TalonsUpPuckDown wrote: ↑Mon Sep 19, 2022 2:50 pm Do we have captains and alternates for this season yet?
But I can’t imagine them changing things up, with Barber (C) and Dougherty (A) back from last year.

I could see Taylor Schneider earning a letter this year as well, but we’ll see.pdt1081 wrote: ↑Mon Sep 19, 2022 3:46 pmWith the only "true" seniors being Pitters, Rose, and Coyle (3rd year here), only change I could forsee would be throwing a rare letter at Rose. Barber and Burke were interviewed for the Pucks in Deep podcast. Special guest appearance by John Rich (Brett Rich's brother) who is hosting the first college hockey gameday for the Sparty home opener. The entire podcast was BG talk. Barber said this was the best BG team he's been on since his freshman year when we went to the tourney. Both guys mentioned the new strength coach and that Ty has everyone much more focused. It's worth a listen.

Eigs was interviewed for a Sparty podcast. They talked about Ben Morse, the transfers, the freshmen, team chemistry, last year/this year. This is the kind of thing I wish we were producing on a regular basis. While I really enjoyed the interview, it kinda sucked I had to hear Ty's thoughts and perspectives from an away team podcast.

Are single game tickets really not on sale yet? There are only 12 days until the home opener, and I can't buy tickets to the Michigan State game on 10/8 yet. That seems a little wild, so I almost wonder if it's just my account for some reason. Anyone able to confirm that with me?

Does not look like single tickets are available yet. I blame Kit Hughes.mbenecke wrote: ↑Mon Sep 26, 2022 10:24 am Are single game tickets really not on sale yet? Re: 2022-2023 Season
I couldn't get a firm date for single game tickets when I talked to someone at the ticket office last week. She just said something about "now that the homecoming rush is over" they could start working on it. All our away game tickets have been available, the last being Northern and St. Thomas last week. As always, Lake State remains the earliest available, and best website in college hockey for ease of use.
All is for the best in this best of all possible worlds.
Re: 2022-2023 Season
It just seems like an easy game to push a sellout if they had an adequate amount of time to sell tickets. Do we not want essentially free money? Lol. Flip the switch and get those stubs on sale, man.bgbill wrote: ↑Mon Sep 26, 2022 11:52 am I couldn't get a firm date for single game tickets when I talked to someone at the ticket office last week. Name-brand opponent in Michigan State, home opener, and the football crowd is in town, as well. Seems like an easy 4,000+ at minimum if they promoted it correctly.

Staffing problems. The ticket office is short on people and resources. Just another issue on the massive list for the new AD to deal with. Hopefully it gets resolved soon, you have a Big Ten opponent coming to visit in ten days.bgbill wrote: ↑Mon Sep 26, 2022 11:52 am I couldn't get a firm date for single game tickets when I talked to someone at the ticket office last week. Not sure how many of you subscribe to the CCHA Twitter feed, but it's been the Brendan Furry show for the past 3 days. I'm tired of it and I hope the boys are too.

Wonder if his hit to Schneider's back last season is one of their highlights? A proper review would have gotten him an extra game instead of nothing.TalonsUpPuckDown wrote: ↑Tue Sep 27, 2022 8:29 pm Not sure how many of you subscribe to the CCHA Twitter feed, but it's been the Brendan Furry show for the past 3 days.
