Wow
I have to imagine some of this is due to health. No way Dougherty gets a letter if he isn’t a regular.

1-1 after 1. I thought their goal was a fluke but it still counts.

What a difference a year makes. Neutral zone play was much improved. Breakout was much improved. We were strong to the puck and tight to our man. Passes were on the stick for the most part. I thought we outplayed them this period. Need to keep it up in the second.

I missed a good chunk of the second, but what I saw towards the end wasn’t as crisp as the first.

Shades of last year where BG kinda stopped playing and defensive zone coverage was an issue. Can already see some guys showing fatigue being the first game.

Falcons win 6-4. Very sloppy game but good to see some goals being scored.

BG rode up in the purplest purple bus and trailer you could imagine. Slump changer, apparently.

Feels fantastic to get a win on opening night. Could be a potentially massive 3 points to start the year.

And to top it off, the purple cows got clobbered by UNO 7-2.

Edit: it was an exhibition game.

My first impression too. Tonight's offense was worth about 2 weeks of last season's offense.
