Onside kick was a heart attack and a half, but BG ends up with it.

Wow BG really lucked out on that onside kick.

They went for two because 10 points now wins you the game. If you don't get it you can go for two again if you score. It was a smart decision.

CMU getting the ball back with five minutes left down 9. Out of timeouts.

BG still leads 27-18 with 5:13 to play in regulation.

CMU is getting the ball back here.

Up to 17 with the planned delay of game on fourth down. This stuff definitely needs to be cleaned up.

Loeffler wisely tried draw CMU offside and takes the delay of game penalty to give the punter 5 extra yards. The ensuing punt is downed at the CMU, so that was done perfectly.

You’d like to see us know how to get that playcall on the field without first burning a timeout, but I would assume that was due to us having so many penalties today that they had to make sure that nobody jumped.

We’ll take it. Come on, D.

Hate targeting there. 8 is trying to go low on the tackle, but the guy is falling out of the air.

I get that it’s potentially targeting by rule, but it’s past time to change the rule. There’s clearly no intent there, so the kid shouldn’t be kicked out of the game.

And as I say that, it’s overturned. I appreciate that.

Simms is lucky there's no targeting there.

To be clear: That was the one penalty today I'm absolutely fine with. The other 16 (!), not so much.

Hahaha I love going for the touchdown there. Leave no doubt. Fortunate to win this game given all the penalties. CMU turnovers really negated a lot of that.

First time since 2015 there will be meaningful midweek games in Bowling Green.
