2-0 Mankato.

Feels like Stoever’s kryptonite is his inability to corral the puck the first time, leading to rebound chances. This was often something that plagued Eric Dop, as well.

6 shots through 34 minutes.

The reason we don’t score goals is because we don’t even get the puck on net. That’s pretty putrid stuff.

Daughter puked all over the floor tonight so unfortunately haven't been able to watch any of the game, but the effort sounds similar to my girl wretching.

Effort through the first 25-30 min was pretty decent. Ran out of gas the last 10 min.

That's good. Unfortunately it seems like healthy or not this roster doesn't have the offensive horses to stay competitive against better teams.

I've put in 50 hours on the clock this week, plus an additional 10 commuting, and I feel like I could lace up skates right now and single handedly bring more energy than the entire team that period. It doesn't even look like a lack of effort. They flat look tired. Night and day difference from the first period.

I just don’t know where 6, 10, and 11 have disappeared to this year. They’ve been productive players for us their entire careers here. How have they all 3 simultaneously gotten shut down? It’s really curious.

They’re all talented. They’ve all done this a while. They’re all good enough to play and play well in this league. There’s a mountain of evidence backing them up. So what the hell is wrong?

Not the type of thing you want to hear after the program hired a new S&C coach.

They should be conditioning for marathons, not football games.

After 30 shots on goal, a weak one has to go in I guess

A loss is a loss, but happy to take a point out of that game.

Bummed about the loss but to come back from2 down is a positive. That point we picked up is big.

Surely every CCHA team looks at that "penalty" in OT and knows exactly what they are up against this season.

BG did not play well outside the first period. They came back from 2 down in the third to force OT.

I was shocked that OT penalty was called, and the cross check against MSU with 3 minutes left in the game was also called. They usually let ya cross check them until a retaliation, and then take both for roughing.
