He didn't really play until the end. He looks massive, especially against a team like this one.

Didn't really do much of note. I said he kinda looks like shaq out there compared to everybody else. Then be proceeded to fumble away an entry pass out of bounds.

Wouldn't expect much, but he's probably ahead of Etim on the depth chart.

16% from 3 and 47% from the line is all you need to know about this team. It’s going to be a looooong season.

Curtis may be the most talented guy on the team like some say, but man the boxscore does not show it. A decent night, yeah. But more turnovers than assists for a lead offensive player is not a good look against any competition. Against this team? <more shudders>
I think he can play but he's out of control and only here because he can basically do whatever the eff he wants to get his and knows he'll never be sat down because of it.

I think he's gonna lead us in scoring this year at like 15ppg with atrocious shooting numbers and mediocre a:to ratio.

Oh and speaking of shooting. You can't convince me this team shoots 40% from deep in shooting drills. Nobody can shoot.

It seems like the staff considers Curtis-Agee and Metheny our top 3 players. I could see that. Ayers and O'Neil will start but rotate heavily with Turner, Lightfoot and Towns?

Some thoughts after going to the game tonight.

I know we won but it was not a fun game to watch. No clue why Diarra doesn’t play more. He’s a monster and rebounds. Elsasser once again got in ahead of McComb… then McComb got in the game and looked decent. Huger style basketball for you there SIGH!

Chandler Turner was once a “big time” recruit. He looked terrible tonight. He was clearly our there to get his own points…. Speaking of which our offense looked terrible. Huger has no sense of play calling or offensive philosophy.

Energy was down and the team just doesn’t look together. The coaches all look out of it too.

I’m impressed with Agee but he can’t guard a snail crossing the street. He’s so slow! But he rebounds the ball quite well.

After tonight I think this team goes 12-19 on the season and Huger is let go after the season.

Sorry not much positive for me to report on this game. As I always say, my kids had fun and that’s a win for me.

I don’t know why they love Metheny. He’s just not good. Time to move him to a backup role

I'll give my player breakdown. The team as a whole didn't look good and I don't think we'll be good. However there were some bright spots individually. Reminder I didn't watch the west Virginia game

Curtis - Looked similar to last year he can score and get assists but not a true number one option scoring or distributing

Agee - I can see why he had 20 and 10 averages last year as he is very sound in both areas. Very impressed in those areas but I'm not sure he can guard a 4 next to oneal

Metheny - The exact same player as previous years which is disappointing. Held his elbow the entire timeout after another bad turnover but I've seen him have a small "injury" before after some bad plays. Trainer didn't look at him

Ayers - He's decent but didn't stand out. Should be a 6th/7th man on a competitive team

O'Neal - Still has his limitations but at least looks a bit better. Under control on the post and a soft touch. Will need to see how he fares against D1 schools

Lightfoot - You could see his ability and potential but it wasn't there tonight. He was very frustrated and forced some shots. Fixable issues

Mills - He was fine but forgettable

McComb - Liked what I saw from and looked like he had a scoring instinct. A couple of nice finishes and showed why he had 25 points a game in high school. He'll need some work but I would take him over mills

Turner - Terrible. I think he will have some big games like last year but will have more games like tonight. Once again same as last year but if anything worse

Etim - A big body but didn't show much

Towns - Got rebounds and had a lot of energy which is exactly what we need from a bench big man. He will have fit in nicely but can't see him being anything more than that. Terrific entry pass to Agee in the first half

Diarra - Looked like a giant out there but not sure it will translate against better teams. Looked clumsy and a bit lost on defense. Reminds me of gadeson. I would be excited if he were a freshman. He should have played more tonight
