Happy to get the W and 3 points.

Lots to improve. Keep it rolling and finish them tomorrow night, boys!

Fortunate to get the W. D-zone coverage and breakouts still need a lot of work. Stoever may have played his best game of his collegiate career.

That last second goal that tied it hurt, though. Need to be in better position to stop the puck.

1-1 after the first.
Sorta seemed like the boys stopped playing.

On my way out of the Slate last night I ran into our new AD. He was by himself wandering the concourse. He was pumped and more animated than one would expect. He clearly enjoyed the experience. He mentioned he'll be attending all the big games and called out the Buckeye game in particular. During our conversation I mentioned we were a mid-level program who isn't in the same league as the big boys. "We need to change that!" he said so I took advantage of the opening to remind him that he was in a position to make that happen.

I think the hockey program will be OK under this guy.

I’ve been really impressed with some of the younger guys on this team so far this season. Swankler, O’Hara, Scardina, Grant, Krieger. I like what I’m seeing from them. And I feel like we’re just waiting on these seniors to figure something more consistent out and we will take a leap forward. Just need them to top this team off right now.

And as much as Stoever makes me nervous as hell sometimes with the way he leaves his net, he’s still playing really hard and giving a ton of effort to help this team win games. We need more of that from him.

St. Thomas is going to give us a real push tonight. We need to respond and keep rolling.

It's the best sporting experience on campus and I'll never understand why we're not going all in on it.

Bad defense leads to a very soft, slow motion goal for St. Thomas. Stoever will want that one back.

1-0 Tommies, about 7 minutes into the game.

A Nathan Burke goal! We need him to get hot.

We’re tied at 1.

St. Thomas added a goal about 4 minutes into the middle frame to go up 2-1.

We’re dominating in shots but kinda playing loose so far this period. Need to get focused and start taking care of the puck again.

End of 2, St. Thomas leads 2-1.

Falcons need a big third period here.

Not a good effort so far in the third.

BG got a powerplay, but took a penalty of our own just 30 seconds in. And now we take another penalty for holding Daly’s stick.

We’re going to run out of time.

Scardina ties the game at 2 with just over 5 minutes to play.

And Barber takes a dumb penalty with 4:15 to play. Damn, man.

Barber is an idiot. How he is captain is beyond my comprehension.
