Yep. Unless you dive because you're trying to get around a defender, it's considered showboating. It was actually the right call. The blindside block, however, was not.

This team is so horribly undisciplined at times, it has hurt them all year. Stupid penalties, jawing at opponents and getting unsportsmanlike penalties. Apparently, there is no accountability for doing these things by the coaches, or you wouldn't keep seeing them.

It's a shame that pass to the tight end (on BG's last drive before Toledo scored) was dropped. He had a lot of field in front of him and I think would have had a huge gain. BG would have had a first down and challenging to score again instead of having to punt the ball to Toledo. It's little things like this that will typically decide big games. It was a great call and a great pass by Mcdonald.

Lack of personal discipline has plagued the team all season. Dumb mistakes at inopportune times. It's why at 21-0 I wasn't feeling too comfortable. BG will inevitably let you back in the game.
