Attended more games than any responsible student should have.

Wasn't Barstool doing a GameDay type thing? Could it have been that referenced earlier?

New ZiggyCast is out (Todd Walker putting in a lot of work the past 24 hours), contains highlights and comments from last night, plus an interview with Huger for the hoops crowd.

Crazy that McDonald to Keith has been the connection for the two biggest plays this season against Marshall and Toledo.

Keith has proven to be one of the most important players on the team. Always runs hard and stays locked in. Even more impressive considering he seems to be going through some major personal turmoil.

Sometimes..being able to focus on the thing that brings you joy is life is what gets you through that personal turmoil

There was no player party last night. Speculated it was student fans of each team. Not that it matters now either way.

It was a party promoted by some players (the ad is still up on one player's IG) but it clearly wasn't a team-wide event. I regret bringing it up here, because it really wasn't as big a deal as I thought, and it obviously didn't impact the team's ability to perform last night. My bad on the assumption, folks.

No problem! I asked about it today.

Bigger mystery: what was with the fire works display at Halftime while Toledos band was playing? Not that i cared, but you couldn’t hear their band. I am sure they weren’t happy.

Funny you mention that, I could hear the fireworks from my home just across the state line. Thought someone in town was being an idiot and shooting stuff off when I realized it was from the Glass Bowl.

There was no announcement about them, mention of a sponsor, nothing. I was half hearing a conversation behind me where it was implied someone was giving paybacks to Toledos band?!? That was probably a $5-10K display? Really weird…..

Loeffler said in his postgame presser that this rivalry game belongs on Saturdays in full stadiums, and I couldn’t agree more. He also said that Candle feels the same way.

I hope the league will think hard about it and possibly let that happen. I understand that you want the game on national TV for the money, but they have to think about fan and player experience too. It would be incredible to have 20,000+ people at the Doyt next year on a Saturday in late October for this one, as we defend our trophy.

I wish they would reconfigure the season schedules to make the last week of the regular season fall the Saturday before Thanksgiving. That would be the perfect day for this game.
