Believe the latest they can play this is Monday. Buffalo has a game with Kent the following Saturday.

If they can't fit this game in, it would raise the stakes for Ohio-Bowling Green on Tuesday. But it seems they ought to be able to fit this game in.

Maybe take a cue from the NFL and move it? There is a 13,000-seat soccer stadium in Rochester, N.Y., and Syracuse obviously has that dome.

Logistically it's going to be hard to play this game. I-90 south of Buffalo is completely shut down with numerous vehicles stranded. Akron needs to get their personnel and equipment up through that way. Even on Sunday there will be 25-35mph winds to blow all that snow around and still make things treacherous.

If it is declared a no-contest then I believe BG/Ohio becomes the de facto East title game.

Why not play the game in an NFL stadium that isn't being used that day? They could have jumped on the Detroit bandwagon as well, or they could have played in Cleveland.

Could have played at Akron...then give UB two straight at home in the series if they bitch too much. It's not like Akron will have thousands there to create a home field advantage
It's not the fall that hurts...it's when you hit the ground.

I can attest to this. If Akron draws 50,000 for 6 homes games, it is a success. Such a shame that a cool stadium is always so empty.

Well deserved for Brooks, Hilaire and Keith. Brooks probably should have been Defensive POTY. Sims probably made second team more on his name than anything. I thought he had a pretty disappointing season. Also, as much as I give him s**t, I think McDonald deserved a third-team nod, especially over Collin Schlee, who didn't do anything special this year.

Attended more games than any responsible student should have.

I agree with this for the most part. I would say that, given our offense, we should have a TE on first, second or third team every year. It could be that the MAC does not have two tight ends better than Christian Simms. (I don't know a thing about Joel Wilson, the Central Michigan TE who made third team, but is he better than Simms?)

I bet Harold Fannin Jr. is at least the third-team TE by next year.

In looking at our roster: Including Javonte Kinsey, who just announced he's going to the portal, we have 11 tight ends. That's... a lot!
