In that case, that really sucks for BG!
Given the way Buffalo kicked our butts a few weeks back, I can't complain too hard about this. It would be odd seeing a team with a lower winning percentage advance to the MAC title game, though.
Everyone but Buffalo gets screwed if the Bulls beat Kent and BG wins on Tuesday. BG will have the H2H vs. Ohio, plus a higher winning percentage than Buffalo. Even Ohio gets screwed by virtue of a higher winning percentage and a H2H win vs. Buffalo.
Makes no sense but as mentioned, beat the teams in your division and it becomes a moot point.
BG or Toledo could have hosted the game if the MAC didn’t want to shift it to Akron, giving them a home game. I’m sure it’s not as simple as that in college as it is in the NFL.
Still, sucks that the MAC didn’t put some sort of plan together after they saw the Bills relocate.
All we can do is hope Kent beats them, and obviously we gotta beat Ohio or none of this matters anyway.
Two weeks ago, we were saying goodbye to Loeffer. My guess, as a BG fan, is that they choke, but wait! Loeffer beat tSun, and he probably has two more years on a contract. BG way? No extension, but no firing either.

If we make it to the Conference championship it will be by buying a ticket.
