So, not going to be a 3 - bid conference this year?
Jury is still out. BG might get a resume booster tonight!

Then Elsasser falls asleep on defense to let their best scorer get a catch and shoot 3 at the buzzer. Damn

42-40 going into half. Must've played pretty well.
I saw Curtis in the middle of nowhere in the paint with 2 actual paint defenders already in there. Looked to me like he missed his rotation.
Might be right. Sometimes when a guy looks like he's running at somebody he was just the first guy to realize the mistake trying to help out.

Rough start to the half with ND just beating us down the court before we can settle into our defense

Samari Curtis has the worst shot selection since Jordan Crawford.

I tuned in and saw offensive plays being ran. What the heck is going on?

Huger saved it all for this game. For the past 7 years, he’s been keeping the offense under wraps to let it out in this game.

Ayers is the type of player who can thrive in Huggers unstructured systems. I'd say the same for Curtis if he had better shot selection.

Ayers is long - plays at 6-8 and is faster than everyone.

Another TO by metheny. If he can't give us ball control he need not see the court.

I'd say that BG is considerably more talented than ND. A lot less disciplined amd experienced. That's the difference here

Man some piss poor execution here the last few mins. Matheny can't catch an inbounds on what looked to be an easy deuce. Miss a 3 on a kickouts from Agee drawing the double. Miss a 3 coming over the top of a screen. Then foul a 3 point shooter.

Had some chances but only have time for about one more run. Gotta hit shots and play some defense. ND is getting a lot of looks when we don't get steals. Shooting like 65% this half.

Brutal down the stretch man. Played so well for most of the game. Over 8:00 of scoreless ball :(

I think every foul I saw them call on us was legit. I think they let a half dozen against ND go in the 2nd half alone.

Would have been interesting to see us get the calls they got. I don't think it was 15 points worth of interesting., but it might have been 10.

ND double teamed Agee in the 2nd half. Great move by them. He didn't handle it well. Need him to learn how to keep the ball, read the court, make the obvious, easy pass so that the next pass after that gets us an open look.

That Matheney play looked to me like he was trying to shoot it before he caught it so it wouldn't get blocked.

He is simply too small, and his arms too short, to score at this level in the paint. That layup that got stuffed by the guy he beat off the dribble (Starling maybe?) was a perfect example. Matheney beat him. Had his body as a shield, extended his arm to get the shot off. And STILL got stuffed from behind by a guard from the other team.

HE needs to be taking catch and shoot 3's and pretty much nothing else. Like 4 a game. that would be fine.
