Stoever gives away a bad rebound and it ends up behind him.

2-1 BG after 2. Barber got the second marker. Need a strong 3rd to get the sweep.

Taylor Schneider with his 3rd goal of the weekend and BG’s third of the night. He’s had a hell of a series.

BG leads 3-1 early in the 3rd.

And BG adds another from Dalton Norris on the powerplay. Assist from Swankler.

Falcons lead 5-1 with 15:34 remaining in the third.

Stoever saves 30 of 31 shots he sees and BG wins 5-1 for the 6-point sweep.

Excellent weekend. Back to .500, heading home in 1st place. 9 of our next 10 games are at home - get to the Madhouse!

I'd rather listen to them than the alternative. It's difficult enough just to try and listen to BGSRO while driving.

For away games, I gave up on BGRSO a few years ago, and I always listen to the home team's radio. LSSU's guys are fine with me. Bill Crawford has a bit of an unusual voice that used to drive me nuts, but he knows his stuff. He criticizes LSSU when appropriate and praises BG when appropriate.

I like listening to Crawford too. He couldn't say enough about Swankler or Barber last night.

Speaking of Swankler, it seems he's really upped his playmaking this year compared to last. Last year he was a shoot first, shoot second, think about passing third but still shoot kind of player where this season he's threading passes through traffic right on the tape. Man, I hope this kid sticks around.

Last season was the ultimate setup for this season. The goaltender knew he was going to shoot, and played accordingly. Now, the goaltender is worried about the shot, but they're also worrying where the pass may go.

Before his freshman year, he was asked why he chose to play college hockey. His response was he "wanted the same teammates for more than a year." I think that's starting to really show this season. I'm pretty sure he knows there's more hockey at the next level, but there's a strong possibility it'll be like Jrs with the ever changing rosters, trades, etc. He will have some hard decisions to make at the end of the year.
