I aim to please. Glad I got a laugh out of you. Here's one of my favorite Seinfeld quotes.ZiggyZoomba wrote:Damn you!! I just laughed out loud at the library and got a "SHHHHHHHHHH" directed at me by an angry blue-haired Perrysburg resident!!UK Peregrine wrote:

Um, while I don't typically go out of my way to watch women's basketball I have never said it was boring. I do find it annoying that other people on this site feel the need to come over to the mens hoops section to tell everyone that the women won the tournament, like we didn't know, and then proceed to tell everyone that because the Men didn't win we shouldn't discuss it and only talk about the women. I watched the game and while it had no impact on the game I cheered those girls one. I will cheer and support ANY and ALL BGSU sports teams.Jham wrote:Fun for whom? I highly doubt I'm the only one sick of people ganging up on this kid; I know for a fact that ripping on a poster isn't what Grant made this site for, despite the annoyance.
If you don't like what he says, ignore it. I would also have loved to know where I could find merchandise for these women.
Apparently, PGY is in the camp that finds women's basketball "boring." Or, the camp that has nothing better to do than consistently rip on this kid.
Second this kid, Has pissed me off in ways you don't know. Maybe I shouldn't have reamed him so hard earlier in this post, But I did. Dennis Leary wrote/sang a song that describes me. This kid will take the brunt of it, until he changes, something many people have asked but he has failed to do.

Thats kind of a stretch.McMetz811 wrote:Sure it's not a good thing that we all tease the kid, but hey, did you ever think maybe we are teaching him a life lesson? He asks all these questions about things he doesn't know so maybe we took it as a sign of needing to learn. For instance, if you let people put you down in life, you will fail. So by teasing the kid while he keeps posting and shrugging our comments off, we are actually benefiting his future of people picking on him.

You're right, Jham - you're not the only one sick of it. I guess I figured we were supposed to be the adults. Apparently that's not what some of the regular posters on this board think.Jham wrote:Fun for whom? All the negative crap takes some of the fun out of checking out what used to be a much better, more positive, BG supporting site.

What you have to understand golfer, is that 90 percent of the people on this site view about 90% of your posts thus far us useless and post padding. I don;t think that was your intention but that's what it comes across as. We usually have two kinds of posts, informative/opinionated posts, or clever humorous posts. I have seen about 3 of your posts that fit that criteria. I think we all like to see your enthusiasm and we always like new falcons. If you learn to post when you have something valuable to add to a discussion, and not post every 4 word thought that comes into your head, you will get a lot better response from people on these boards. I am by all means not trying to rip you or yell at you here. I am simply trying to help you understand why almost everyone here doesn't like you right now, and how you can begin to rectify the situation.

Hats, right? This thread is about. . .
Just as an FYI I was at the University Bookstore in the Bowen-Thompson Student Onion yesterday and noted that they have the Women's Championship hats for sale. They are the exact ones the women wore while celebrating on the court (well not exact, these have never been worn, I am pretty sure the exact ones stayed with the players themselves. . .)
The hats are on the official site now:
