Apparently high sticking and checking from behind are no longer penalties. I hope Eigner asks the league to look at a couple of those hits.

Stoever with a career high 43 saves. He’s becoming a heck of a goaltender.

I hope we bring a strong effort to the table tomorrow night. Gonna need it if we’re hoping to steal a split.

NFW there were 45 SOGs. Wish we’d played the second and third like the first though their second goal was flukey but then again they had a lot of good looks. Good thing is we were never out of it. Even better, the Toledo news people won’t have much in the way of content to write about the prodigal son.

The prodigal son that checked Stoever from behind in the crease?

Hopefully a better result tomorrow.

I think they think Minnesota State is better then what they might actually be. But for some reason we've put them on a pedestal. They are the cream of the conference but we can play with them. Always seems like it takes us a period to realize that.
Let's get one tomorrow.

Down 1-0 just over halfway through the first. Energy level isn't as high as yesterday.

2-0 off a terrible goal by Stoever and this one looks to be over.

Might as well throw Evola out there to start the third to see if the team responds.

A good Minnesota State team and BG is probably down 7-0. This is a very average team for them but still are going to win the league without real contention. If you consider BG giving them contention you are fouling yourself. Being swept at home is far from being in contention. I'm a BG fan and bleed orange and Brown but we don't have close to their talent or level of execution. One real offensive threat with Swankler and Defensively BG is very below average.

5-1 Minnesota State.......when people stop accepting this then it will change. Flat out embarrassing.

Welp. Guess we know the program hasn’t changed at all.

Still love the boys, but we’re probably going to get our heads caved in twice next weekend against OSU and find ourselves reeling again.
