And an immediate 5th goal means I’m leaving the building with more than 8 minutes left.

Fire Eigner. This s**t isn’t close to good enough.

Coyle loses his man going to the net. Same old story under this staff. Lapses in defensive coverage.

Beyond frustrated. Major lack of leadership that in back to back weekends things snowball. Don't handle adversity well at all.

Couple that with poor systems and a lack of talent and you get the 2022-23 Falcons.

DVDM has his hands full with bad coaches. Football, basketball and hockey.

If I was donating money to the program, I would stop immediately. This is absolutely pathetic effort, inept coaching, and zero heart from anyone in the program.

This program has been driven over the cliff, and it’s going to stay there until there is new leadership. Period.

DVDM was at the coaches talk and chatted with folks after Stavs finished. Not sure hockey will be his top priority.

Stavs pointed out the league is wide open and we’re in the thick of things. I agree with only the first part of his statement.

On their fourth goal, Norris makes a freshman mistake and turns it over in the NZ. But in fairness, the entire team turned it over in the NZ all night. We do this grind it up the boards through the NZ or tip it into the offensive zone with no chance of getting control. We aren’t fast enough to beat their d-man nor are we strong enough to maintain control when we actually do make it down their first. Special teams looked decent.

Don’t get me started on face offs.

Tech lost tonight. Bemidji took 11 of 12 points from Mankato. The league is wide open. And I’m afraid we’re out of it.

If anyone cares, Saturday's game will include a teddy bear toss for Ronald McDonald house.

Fans are longing for the good old days when Bergeron teams would beat up on nobodies all year and then collapse down stretch.
Maybe when Bergeron gets fired at Miami he can come back and to BG. BG can leave the CCHA start up the WCHA with all the independent teams. BG will then get back to glory of 20 wins and finishing in 3rd place.
Most overrated program at BG for the past decade now just flat sucks.

Certainly, we may have been “overrated” at that time. And yeah, we never won the conference championship. But we played a fun, physical brand of hockey. We made multiple championship games. We were always in the PWR hunt at the end of the season. We won playoff series regularly. We made it to the NCAA tournament and realistically should’ve beaten Duluth, who went on to win the whole thing. We actually had a chance in these games, and we often won home games. I would take all of that back in an instant over this garbage.

My biggest issue is that we aren’t even competitive anymore. And we don’t win at home. And it never even feels like we have a chance in big games anymore. We’re 1-9-0 in the last 10 games I have attended in BG. That is absolutely dreadful and would drive any fan to the brink of not caring anymore. I’ll never give up on the program I love, but the relationship is changing a bit. The past 4 years have just been so painfully mediocre that it feels a little pointless watching these games, knowing the inevitable is coming.

Fans are longing for structured hockey and a consistent work ethic. That's been absent since Berge left. Eigner and his staff have no clue what they're doing and it shows every night in the box score even outside of the final score.

Outshot, can't win draws, lose the special teams battle, terrible defensive coverage, and leaky goaltending have been the hallmarks of his tenure.

But he did recruit Blake’s kid, Emerson’s kid, and his own kid. See a trend here?

Gotcha on Blake, but that Emerson/Grant/Pfoh line is one of the few bright spots this season. Those three guys get after it.

Edit: I think the Peter Eigner situation isn't much of a recruiting thing. He's the next Brett Rich. Eigs has said publicly more than once that Peter will not see meaningful playing time (i.e. an exhibition appearance is about it). I still get your point, though.
