Good news - My wife and I are having a son sometime in the next 3-4 weeks (due January 8) so I’ll be at *maybe* 1 game the rest of the season. Here’s hoping the mbenecke curse can be lifted without me at games in the 2nd half of the year. :lol

First of all, Congrats Falcon friend. Never let children stop what you guys like to do. Took my oldest to her 1st game when she was 8 days old.

Second of all, administors of this site might want to check mbencke's account, it may have been hacked. The user of this screen name is acting rational and with common sense, they aren't showing positivity in all situations.

My wife likes to make fun of me for “liking everything.” Being too positive is definitely my toxic trait. Lol. Appreciate the kind words!

I mean, they’re probably all leaving. But is that a bad thing? Who knows.

Just feels like nothing will get better until there is a change in leadership in the program. We need someone that knows what they are doing and that has experience as a head coach. This just isn’t working. As much as I love Ty and appreciate him for being a loyal Falcon, this simply isn’t working out.

I live in Columbus but skipped this one. Also left Saturday's game against Mankato early for the first time ever. Didn't do that the season the guys won five games.

O’Hara got a 10-minute misconduct. No idea what happened, but we need to learn how to be way more disciplined. And I hope he’s not going to miss the next game because of it, because he is one of our better players.

Wish they could clean house after the season but that's not realistic, however Stavros and Carr at a minimum need to go. Ty needs to bring in some assistants that actually know what they're doing.

As far as transfers, I doubt too many kids leave. Hockey recruiting is a different animal than football or basketball. Unless you're a top-level player or have connections, going in the portal is going to be a death sentence. I do think that the outgoing senior class leaving may be a good thing. It's obvious Barber and those guys don't have what it takes to be leaders and try to right the ship.

All of college hockey is based on back to back nights. There are so many things wrong with this quote. And what does our coaching staff do. They name him captain. That's the leadership we currently have.

As rough as the last 2 weekends have been, Pete Eigner getting to play the last 2:30 tonight is very cool. Good for that kid. What a story.
