Entz would be the Cadillac of coaching candidates. He's doing pretty well salary wise at NDSU though. Not quite what Loeffler makes, but I'm not sure we could bump him enough to make him want to move on. Pretty hard pressed to call the MAC a step up from the premier FCS teams, even if we can offer slightly more pay. Success is far more limited.

He'd be something to get excited about though. Has recruited to BFE. Has sent players to the NFL. WINS. Only real question is whether he's truly talented or if he's simply managed to keep things rolling after Klieman left; still he's won 2 national titles of his own.

I'm guessing D2 guy in Michigan is Mitchell at GVSU. He's a guy I've had my eye on for a while. Salary is in the $150-200k range, so we could provide a significant bump. He recruits really well for the D-2 level, does well in the portal, and has an offensive system that works. If Loeffler either leaves or is let go at the end of next season, he'd be on my short list.

Attended more games than any responsible student should have.

I’d put Tony Annese on my list, as well. 115-17 at Ferris State, and coming off back to back D2 national championships.
