Defense gets off the field right away, and it’ll be BG ball early in the 4th here.

And the punt is shanked! It went 14 yards. BG takes over at the Aggie 41.

Still down 24-10. Need points here.

BG got inside the NMSU 10 but OJ fumbled it away. The umpire said he was down, but the rest of the officials overruled him and then the call stood because you couldn’t be certain on the replay.

Missed opportunity.

Season full of self-inflicted mistakes.

I feel like blaming him for a lot of this is valid, but not all of it.

He can’t hold onto the ball for OJ there. He can’t make tackles for guys. He can’t catch a ball for a guy. He can coach them up as best he can, but guys still have to execute when they’re out there.

One team looked excited to be there and ready to compete, one did not. BG is significantly more talented than NMSU….MNSU is just a better coached team.

BG blocks a punt through the end zone for a safety.

It’s 24-12, and BG will have the ball, once again with momentum about halfway through the 4th quarter.

Damn, a TD there would have been massive. Safety was the second best outcome for the Aggies.

Blocking punts has been one of our strengths this year...

Man a TD would have been really nice there.

I’m probably in the minority here but I think the playcalling and coaching has been decent enough to be winning. Execution isn’t there, massive drops/fumbles, and as hard as I’ve been on McDonald, we are really missing him out there.

Huge return from Embry there gets BG over the 50, and on review, it definitely should’ve been targeting. Replay official is asleep at the wheel.

Orth proving me wrong on that drive, with some serious help from Broden.

And after a deep shot to OJ leads to a PI call, Orth throws a dart to Broden, who powers his way into the end zone.

It’s 24-19 with 6:27 to play.

Need the defense to step up here.
