I’d love to have 6 more points here, in this 5 point game…

Don’t think Orth is the future but he may earn a shot at it if he can pull this out. It doesn’t look like they are being out coached. We just looked undisciplined for most of this game.

Gave up a 3rd and 9 scramble. Just can’t get off the field in big spots today.

An offense designed around a running QB is hard to stop.
It’s not my point of view, it’s a fact.

And another on 3rd and 10.

It’s ridiculous.

How many times does the QB scramble for a first down in 3rd down before you put a spy on him???? We should have been spying him all day!

Orth has played well this half...

And now a wide open slant on 3rd and 5.

We won’t be anything more than mediocre until we can consistently win on 3rd down. This has been absolutely maddening.

It looked to me like there was a spy on him for both of those runs. They just let the QB get the angle.

Attended more games than any responsible student should have.

Nice second half effort but it's not enough, and losing to a team that only beat four FBS teams this year is pretty embarrassing.

Lost on 90% of third downs.

Alex Bayer has done a nice job with the special teams. They were well prepared and have looked pretty solid all season. Rest of the staff gets a big thumbs down.

I don’t remember what it was exactly but we a respectable bowl record in 2004. It’s got to be pretty bad now.

Orth was 14/22 for 191 yards and a TD. Really solid performance in relief of Matt McDonald, who I will remember as a tough, hard nosed, relentless Falcon.

6-7 on the year. Got a lot of room for improvement. Need to use spring ball and fall camp next year to really take another leap forward.
