Here is the 2022 roster with guys leaving
The 2023 roster with recruits added
The 2023 Recruiting with signings, reported commits and Xfer offers. We didn't add HS offers as that would take forever.
JPFalcon and I can add any updates and changes.

I am going to add a sheet on coaching staff as well.

Losses and Replacements

QB McDonald: We keep hearing that the guy isn't on the team. Orth sprang to the backup role off the roster and didn't look great. I do like the RPO option he may bring with our running game. Gunther is xfer from Syracuse but was just a preferred walk on there. Bainbridge and Anderson are wildcards.
WR Hillare, Lewis, Osborne, Croom: Getting Osborne back would be nice. Ibrahim seems like a big win. There is enough talent for someone to be the other WR.
C Robinson: Grant has 12 career starts there and Zimmerly 4. Zimmerly has 8 starts at LG. In some way Zimmerly probably takes over a spot.
K Lawler: I am sure one of the 4 on the roster will be fine.
DL Haire and Brooks: Roberts and Hawkins will take up 2 spots. Losing these two is probably the biggest loss.
LB Anders and Brand and Taylor: Neri and Sipp have both started but just one each.
S Bacon and Anderson: Simms will start somewhere.

Jordan Anderson, Odieu Hiliare, Austin Osborne, Darren Anders, Christian Sims, and Mason Lawler are all guys that could be back next year, given that they have another year of eligibility. Those will all be very interesting decisions, as getting ANY of them back would be a big boost to the team next year.

This may play out like the hockey program a couple years ago where some of the more talented guys find homes with bigger programs given their extra year of eligibility.

That spreadsheet access is updated. I thought I posted that but it seems like it didn't go through and I somehow double posted instead.

Last year Scot said we could have won nine games, but he waned to talk the right path and build the team the way it should be. OK..instead of being 4-8, we were 6-7....that's short of 9 by...if my math is right ...50%. Are we going to get 9 wins next year then? Or does Scot lack the acumen to build a 9 win or better team?
It's not the fall that hurts...it's when you hit the ground.

This seems likely. You’ll pray to keep your talented guys, but I would expect to lose a lot of them.

With some of the offensive folks, it might depend on the QB situation. Couldn't blame Hilaire or Osborne wanting to be somewhere with someone who could get them the ball. I'm guessing Anderson, Anders, and Sims are gone to bigger programs. I think Osborne, Hilaire and Lawler are back. I'm surprised there haven't been more in the portal already with the season over. You'd think they'd want that to be official as soon as possible, but I won't pretend to know the best way.

Maybe dead periods apply to portal contacts too?
It’s not my point of view, it’s a fact.

Possible, but Sam Hartman (Wake Forest QB) wasn’t even in the portal officially yet when he committed to Notre Dame for next season, even though you cannot be contacted by other schools until you’re in the portal. So there’s just kinda zero rules here.

They want to make sure their agents, I mean "advisers," have time to find them a place to land before making the jump.

Hartman hasn't officially committed, it's still just a "projection," though that's where it looks like he's going. Great guy, by the way. Wake actually has been supportive of him finding a landing spot so he can get that NLI money.

It does, but an easy loophole would be not declaring and remaining with your team while having backchannel communications with interested schools...
