END OF ONE: RPI leads 2-1. Shots were 11-7 for the Engineers.

Some bad turnovers, some bad penalties, and a nice PP goal. We’re lucky to only be down 1 right now, but we’re right in this one. Gotta bounce back in the next frame.

BGSU GOAL: Nathan Burke ties it about 7 and a half minutes into the second. A nice outlet pass from Stoever seemed to set that one up.

2-2, all tied up.

END OF TWO: We’re still tied 2-2. Shots are 20-18 RPI.

Kinda felt like RPI got away with multiple cheap shots towards the end of that period. Refs really letting them play tonight.

Gonna finish strong here.

Stoever with a great effort to save an RPI penalty shot keeps us at 4-2 with 11:17 to play in the third.

BGSU GOAL: Taylor Schneider receives a beautiful pass from Nathan Burke and buried it with a gorgeous one timer.

Falcons now lead 5-2 with 6 minutes to play.

Alex Barber registers his 100th career point as a secondary assist on the play. Salute to a great player.

5 unanswered. Played well the last two periods. 40% on the PP, 100% on the PK. Diamond cutter time.

Falcons win, 5-2.

After giving up the first 2, BG storms back and scores 5 unanswered to sweep the series.

Perfect way to start the second half. Falcons will be home with 3-15-2 LSSU next weekend. Need 6 points and a pair of wins.

2 good wins against a team very similar to what they will be facing the rest of the season. Watching both post game pressers, Eigner seemed to have a bit of excitement in his voice for a change.

It’s a slug fest now between Eigner, Huger, and Loeffler. They all know the leash is short, but BG can’t buy them all out. Gotta show just enough to not suck as bad as the others.

I think this is right. Huger is leading the pack right now. Loeffler is safe and I think Eigner is too unless he tanks hard.

Thursday, I took advantage of the small crowd and took some pictures from the NW corner in the third period. I usually shoot stationary animals and don't know how to shoot action, but I decided these shots are decent enough to share.

Just need to improve defensively. That’s all we’re missing
