Offensively things are getting better. Still issues with d-zone coverage from time to time. Next weekend will tell us a lot about what the rest of the season might hold.

The longer the walk, the farther you crawl.

I was worried from middle onward. Lake State turned its intensity up a notch--and kept it there--and we did not respond well.

In the 2nd, when Stoever stacked the pads and lifted his leg, did he make a save? I thought I heard the puck hit the pipe, but I couldn't tell if he got a piece of it.

Agree. We were on our heels in the third. We had really good looks when we carried it into the o-zone. We went away from that in the third. Lots more dump and chase but never got control. Way too many NZ turnovers. Could not respond to their pressure. Glad (relieved) we were able to close it out.

Edit: Ok, I was caught up in the moment. Apologies. It wasn’t as bad as I made it out to be.

It looked like it hit the post on the replay that I saw.
Bring back the glory!

Well, it's game 2, so that means the other idiot is in charge, and he doesn't want to show up his partner from the night before.....TalonsUpPuckDown wrote: ↑Sat Jan 07, 2023 8:44 pm Defense is not playing like they did last night.
And I have to agree with pdt ahead of time about the officiating.

Enjoy watching Swankler play, because he'll only have a handful of games at the slate left. I'd be surprised to see him back next year in a Falcon Jersey.

Either he gets signed or he transfers to a bigger program. Agreed.unfalconbelievable wrote: ↑Sun Jan 08, 2023 8:54 amEnjoy watching Swankler play, because he'll only have a handful of games at the slate left. I'd be surprised to see him back next year in a Falcon Jersey.

Maximum two-way contract or he's back next season. There's really nothing to be gained if he transfers.jpfalcon09 wrote: ↑Sun Jan 08, 2023 10:06 am
