Exactly my thoughts. I will get excited about getting Bazelak and having Stewart return in the backfield when we get a competent O-line who can give them a chance to make plays with consistency. We've had some very good offensive talent come and go without it resulting in any impressive numbers to speak of, including in the win column. The common thread throughout that time has been a bad offensive line. Fix the O line problem or else you're going to have a pretty low ceiling of success for the team, regardless of whether you have good skill players.

Apparently the 4 hour radius is out the window? You would think they would find someone from these parts to fill that spot, not trolling a CC in CA? I would wager the kid never knew BG existed before they called him. I wonder if they mentioned he will be playing without a shirt on when it’s 25 degrees and a 30 knot west wind? Ha!

Judging by Twitter there are several local kids set for official visits in the next week or two, so it appears the staff is still recruiting the "4 hour radius". Someone must have some connections to the JUCO scene in California as Tate is the third guy from that realm to commit to BG this winter.

Yeah, no problem getting a few JUCO guys from those schools now and then. One of the best WRs in recent history was Kamar Jorden (who is having a hell of a career up in the CFL), who had a really similar build to this guy and came in to absolutely kill it. I like his video. Good hops, decent hands, and good acceleration. I like our WR corp so far. If we can actually block for a QB, this has the potential to be a pretty effective offense. It's the defense I'm more worried about now.

To play the devil's advocate...In many instances, we're replacing proven FBS talent with JUCO or FCS players that have little to no interest from other programs. We're on Twitter trolling for kids who aren't seeing much interest to send us film. I'm not saying these guys can't play...we'll see about that...but my optimism is tempered by the recruiting profiles these guys have

Looks like he has great hands. Production wasn't great but that could be QB or system or many things. I was worried about his speed so glad you noted his acceleration.
