Sure but you cant fault someone for not using something they weren't planning on using ever. Sims played with Morris and Morris might play in the Super Bowl. His floor is NFL camp and then XFL, AFL, CFL Spring 2024. People want to get on with their lives. His body can only take so many hits.

Not criticizing the players...at all. Just questioning why we have a greater exodus of talent than other MAC programs. The play on the field does not suggest it's because we're better.

That's the key right there. I have no hard feelings against Broden, Anderson, or Sims. They are making moves that likely benefit them and their families financially. It's the fact that we had these folks on our roster, along with some other impact transfers, yet still scratched and clawed to a 6-7 record with multiple blowouts. We'll see what Loeffler does next season, but unless he drastically changes his offensive approach (he won't), or at least becomes willing to adapt based on his personnel (still probably a no), I'm guessing it will be his last on the sidelines here.

Individual components which are greater than the sum of its parts. In other words, the program has talent but due to certain deficiencies (OL) and coaching decisions (play calls, personnel utilization) it's not being wholly maximized.

Rich Gannon mentioned on NFL radio yesterday how important the offseason is to analyze your mistakes throughout the past season, to watch what other teams do right (and wrong), and develop systems to fix those issues. If this staff is worth a damn, they'll take that advice to the bank and really drill into how the program can get the most out of it's talent on every down.

Bill Connelly from ESPN ranked the BG/Toledo game as the 50th best college football game of the season.

Additions 22 by my count
QB 2
RB 2
WR 6
TE 0
OL 2
K/P 1
DL 2
DE 1
LB 3
DB 3

Its surprising we haven't added a TE with our history. I am not saying we need one, just a surprise.

Half the WRs will be converted by spring ball. Just a hunch.

Only 10 still listed on the roster and that's after Kinsey and Sims departing.

And maybe a T to serve as blocking TE #4 in a super jumbo Package

I'd say he was only about 49 spots off the mark :supz:

The Doyt kinda is a high school stadium. Lol.

2 sides, nothing seating-wise in the end zone, mediocre concessions, typically half empty or worse. That’s as high school as it gets.

I mean, I love it. And it has history. And I’ll continue to go. But that doesn’t mean I won’t complain!
