BG holds a lead over Kent late in the fourth. Three falcons in double digits.

Great win. 16-2 overall, hell of a start.

A very uneven game including refereeing. But BG led all the way and were never really threatened. The Flashes did make it difficult to get open shots and BG's D was even more smothering. Not pretty but still a victory over one of the top 5 MAC teams. When Lexi went down it was also ominous; however, she miraculously returned for a strong second half with a string of long 3 pointers. Should of had another late one but for a soccer flop by Kent.

Just wondering if anyone knows the status of Morgan Sharps’ knee injury. Hoping it’s not season-ending, as she has worked so hard since coming to BG. She plays hard and is a very valuable asset to this team. Prayers for Morgan for a speedy recovery! Great, gutsy win over a very tenacious Golden Flashes squad! Go Falcons!

I know griping about officials is a pointless endeavor but my goodness Saturday was bad. College basketball refs are acting too much like baseball umpires. They seem to think someone bought a ticket to watch them preening around the court.

One basketball ref in particular - he was working Saturday's game in the Stroh - is just atrocious. He has become the Angel Hernandez of the MAC. Touch fouls that NEVER get missed along with flagrant fouls that DO get missed all have the same result. They change the flow of the game and make it impossible to watch. I don't know how Fralick kept her cool as well as she did.

Three very solid wins in a row over Akron, tsun and Kent State. Now back to back road trips to UB tomorrow night and at NIU Sat. Two longest road trips of the year and they're back to back. huh.

GO FALCONS!!!
