@ KSU

Post by hammb »

Slopfest of a game. BG is down 12 with 14:30 to play. Keeping it close because KSU cannot buy a 3 and Matheny is hitting some for us. Realistically we still look completely out classed. Were down 18-5 early and I'd be kinda surprised if we ever pull within 12 again. Up to 17 in the time it took me to tap this out...

Down 15 again. Gonna lose out 4th in a row. Gonna be 10-14 overall and 4-7 against our MAC peers.

This. Program. Blows.

It's God awful. Get pounded by 20 on a night when Matheny hits 5 threes. Oh probably because your supposed best player has 6 freaking turnovers and the guy who actually is your best player has 4. 17 turnovers!?

We suck

We all saw this coming multiple years ago. A fluke MAC Tournament run beating soon to be fired coaches at Ball St and Northern Illinois created an opportunity for the ego’s in charge to convince them it wasn’t a fluke. The Con Man wanted anything that could help him land a job. Moose was just waiting to get worked over by Huger’s agent. The most predictable ending ever.

Lost by 23 against a MAC opponent. I don’t care how good they are - they’re a peer, so we should at least be competitive.

It’s maddening. Every game is worse than the one before. We lose by 20+ against good teams, lose by 10+ against mediocre teams, and barely squeak by or outright lose to bad teams. This team has no business even getting to Cleveland, much less actually winning games when we get there.

It’s an embarrassment. Either fire Huger and find a competent replacement or fold the program.

Kent seemed to have a lot of fun dunking on us...repeatedly

You should have watched the queens game

Got whacked tonight by a clearly better team. Only bench players were Agee, oneal, and elsasser. Diarra played one defensive position unless he played a garbage minute also

Please reset the program in March

McComb played in garbage time. Etim played in the first half and managed zero stats, meanwhile Diarra played one possession and picked up a silly foul and was immediately pulled to put Etim back in. Once again, no Curtis. He played this past Saturday, right?

If the MAC tournament started today, we would be playing this Kent State team in the quarterfinals.

So there’s no chance we’re winning a tournament game this year, and we won’t have a single MAC tournament GAME win since 2019.

Utterly embarrassing.

You know interest in this program is down when the game thread doesn't get started until halfway through the game and isn't even a full page. :(

Sorry i didn't watch the last 5 minutes. I turned it to the end of Akron Toledo and never came back. Curtis did play this past Saturday so not sure where he was tonight. We have zero backup guards and still can't play McComb any real minutes? I know he's not going to make much of an impact but at least let him get some game experience
