Doyt L. Perry Stadium Construction Webcam

Post by BGSU33 »

I was thinking, it would be cool if BG's administration or the stadium contractors were to put up a "Doyt L. Perry Stadium Construction Webcam" when construction gets underway at BG for the SAC. Here at Virginia we have an Arena Cam on the building next to the one I work in that shows the progress of the new basketball arena across the street. Some schools across the country, such as Ohio University or Notre Dame to name a few, have a webcam on campus. But it would be cool to follow along with the construction at The Doyt, especially for those of us far away.

I know we did some image updates online at BG before, such as the new videoboard and the ice arena and that was pretty cool. But I only hope if we did that for the SAC, that it gets updated until the project is finished. The ones that were done for BG's baseball facility don't show the finished product and that phase was complete a while ago.

definitely! Not only will this give us entertainment, but will get others interested in the stadium and hopefully bring more to the games...

But knowing some students, I think we might see some interesting views! (students sneaking in and doing things in front of the camera-if viewable)

And during the games they can leave the camera on and broadcast live feeds during the game. Would pave the way for some pretty interesting pictures.

It'd be a good way to catch all those drunken folks blazing up on the 50-yard line, too! I don't do this myself but I've heard many stories...

I've noticed a majority of the players are pretty devout Christians. Toking up doesn't sound like their cup of tea. I also think Fitch shows what happens if you get involved in that.

True, but At least two football players were also recently apprehanded on similar charges. My comment was mostly meant as a joke. Being a devout christian probably doesn't always play in college students decisions. Didn't keep my girl friend from getting pregnant, nor other "devouts" I knew from partaking in illegal activities.

That's really cool, I'm Lutheran and I always love to see athletes that are devoted to God.

Golfertk: You should contact the FCA in Toledo and get a copy of "The Big Game" DVD. It's dated now - it was made as a tie-in for the UT-BG game of 2003 - but for Believers who love BG, it's quite inspirational.

Smoking up has little bearing on whether you are a christian or not.
