I honestly think you're giving them too much credit with this explanation.

I'd be willing to bet that hosting a "Frack challenge" is a requirement of the endowment. I don't think they give a rat's ass about attendance for that game, they just have a coach that doesn't have the balls to play a worthwhile OOC opponent (gotta keep that > .500 record!) and so they discovered the loophole that it never said the game had to be an OOC game. First they half assed it by saying Mr. Frack was a Findlay alum, so we'll schedule a lower division game. That was a disgrace to the name, so now they just make it Toledo every year.

If the new AD has any balls at all this will NEVER happen again. It should be completely unacceptable.

I knew Mr. Frack personally and he would not be pleased. He did not donate to bring a conference rival to BG. However, if he was with us today, he would be at the game hating on Toledo with the rest of us. God bless Bill Frack.

I know for a fact a number of our hoops alumni are no fans of the direction of this program. Love seeing Lenny tell a member of the dept it's nothing but excuses.

Hilarious as well that the dept members don't wanna hear a single suggestion from us but go out of their way to try and corral our former players into buying the Huger Bullshit.

Good on Len Matela…former athletes who were winners need to speak up and take a stand for programs. These loser administrators (Christopher/Kingston/Moosebrugger/Dan Meyer/Jim Elsasser/Kit Hughes/Lesley Irvine) have screwed things up…time someone fixes it.

Good call, I forgot about her…she was Christopher’s protege.

I remember a coach telling me how she sent an email out to all coaches telling them that the only grey apparel allowed was visiting baseball and softball uniforms. No black or grey uniforms, sweatsuits, polos, hats, etc were allowed. Only Brown, orange or white. Literally a month later Men’s basketball was wearing all grey uniforms.
Then the coaches asked if they were going to get increases in their budget, because ordering brown or orange thru adidas was more expensive. The administration didn’t consider that and quickly dropped the rule. It was only “highly encouraged.”
If someone wrote a book for the department since Greg Christopher was here people would think the stories were made up.

I wouldn't be surprising if we were losing by 10 at tip-off. The coaching is that horrid.
