No worries folks, here at BGSU money grows on trees. Our fired AD just got over 135K to go away , Mike Jinks got his 500K, Michael Huger will get 500k. Short term BGSU was obsessed with how it would look to solve the problems in that moment. They played the long game with incompetent leadership. They let the problems leave on own terms until last summer. Now the real clean up begins. Rodney….you’ve got a problem. That 4 year extension in August 2020 looks really really bad.

The ole Dakich lose out is in play. Always an interesting trend to follow. Hasn’t been in play since 06-07. There is a real possibility of it happening this year.

Ironically, Dakich Jr. is also in the hunt for a lose out this year at Illinois St.

For sure. Not fair to expect us to survive the gauntlet against this power house conference. Not while only being in year 8 of the program.

You know things are at a pathetic point when the local media doesn’t even acknowledge it anymore because it is so obvious what’s needs to happen. Just like Orr and former AD more recently, BGSU is getting the nice guy, you’re pathetic treatment. Sadly BGSU has been here before. That point when you’ve extended a coach that just isn’t up to the job. Ridiculous contract extensions waste money and make sure the over extended coach never gets a head coaching job at this level again.

One last point on the former AD contract extension in 2020. Multiple people were reprimanded in 2019 regarding this incident. Not just coaches.

One positive is the BGSU Board of Trustees meet on Friday the 24th. Would be a good time to do some house cleaning. Maybe we can solicit them for some buyout money while in town.
