I'm glad that Jeff let us play the Muppets theme at the last game...I was kinda disappointed that no one caught on...
I love band! Be good to your horn, it's been good to you hasn't it? ^_^

I told you during A-band that no one would get it except us!

Oh well, no harm done, and at least we amused ourselves, if no one else. :P

I'm almost always amused by the A band  but I don't remember you guys playing Muppets. Did you play it during the first couple mintues of the game, or am I just losing my mind due to lack of sleep?

Actually, I think it was at the end of halftime, if I remember right.

You know, I have to say I was rather confused as to why we added "scary" to our repetoire. Are we supposed to be "scaring" the other team? I did always get a kick out of it though.

I, as a euphonium player in both A-band and Marching Band, very much enjoy "I'm Just A Singer In A Rock n Roll Band". It's a very fun song to play if you ask me. Also...hello...Euphonium dance break in "You Can Call Me Al." The only people who ever see us is the director, but from what I can see, Ryan and Jeff at least get a kick out of us. Even if the fans don't get it(Muppets), I agree with Emily..At least we have managed to amuse ourselves!

Does anyone else find it just downright funny that we play "The Price Is Right" after their little contests at half-time? Props to Ryan for thinking that one up. hahahaha.

Because we have a sadly limited repertoire of short pieces that we can do between plays. Ay-Zig, Go BG, A-Team, First & Ten, Fanfare...... The longer ones we rarely really have time for. So hey... if a line of a song that we already have memorized will stand on its own... so be it!
