BGSU Goal: BG forces a turnover when O’Hara keeps the puck in the zone and after a pair of nice passes, Swankler taps in Gresock’s pass and BG leads 2-0.

Stoever has a brain cramp and we let them right back in it. (Sigh)

Ferris Goal: Stoever drops the puck and Ferris has an easy goal.

It’s still 2-1 BG, but that one was brutal late in the period.

Ty is challenging for goalie interference. Honestly, I don’t know what is required to call this, but you can clearly see the Ferris player’s skate is between Stoever’s pads and pulls him out of the way.

But they stick with the call on the ice and BG loses their timeout. Anyone have thoughts on that call?

My thought is if he covers it instead of trying to scoop it the play ends.

Also true. No idea what he was trying to do there. That should’ve been an easy one.

Ferris ties it 29 seconds into the second period.

We’re so bad, man. This is pathetic.

Two mistakes on that play. Couldn’t clear when we had the chance, passed it to nobody deep in our d-zone and they pick it up.

Never fails that they play down to their competition. This season needs to end.

Tied at 2 after 2 periods.

Gotta find a way to win late.

Every single player on Ferris’ roster is a goon.

Ferris takes the lead with 5 minutes left on a flukey shot through traffic. Stoever never had a chance.

End this season. This program looks like it needs a total reset.

Such a poor hockey team. Shame the men's hoops program is in worse shape because the hockey program needs to move on from Eigner.

We’ve gotten completely away from our identity from the Bergeron era. We used to be so tough. We used to have the fiercest forecheck in all of college hockey. We used to be hard to play against.

Now? We’re charmin soft. We play no defense. Our special teams are awful. We’ve gotten worse 4 years in a row.

We’re gonna have another year of this before they even think about moving on, but it’s clear what needs to happen. Eigner is an awesome guy and a good representative of the university, but he’s not the guy who is going to win big here.
