How many do they need? There are 86 players on the current roster.
I think I had heard there are quite a few injuries at key positions, which makes it rather difficult to play a competitive game. Can someone confirm that?

IIRC...That seems to be a recurring theme in the spring...too many guys hurt or gone to have a real game
It's not the fall that hurts...it's when you hit the ground.

How many are here….How many are injured….. you can’t run a practice with half the o line room on deck.
It’s not my point of view, it’s a fact.

I have 99-101 on the current roster but that includes recruits that might not be here yet. Only 12 lineman

That is a recurring theme across all sports this season.

Here's another example of what irritates me the most about Loeffler...he often contradicts himself. After the season, we were told the spring was going to be about working on the running game. When spring ball gets here we don't have enough OL to have a proper game and we're told that 10-18 guys will soon be joining the team....WTF? That makes no sense

I posted this year 1 after Loeffler kept complaining that they weren’t getting good enough QB play and we weren’t hitting open receivers downfield.
People responded “just wait til McDonald runs the offense, this program needs a complete rebuild, the culture is toxic, etc.”

That was about the time I figured out Loeffler wasn’t a really good coach. Instead of making adjustments and getting the most out the players he had, it was excuses and complaints. The only surprising thing to me over his tenure was that he won 6 games last year. It was one luckiest 6 win seasons probably ever in NCAA history, but it was 6 wins. I have very little doubt BG will be back to 4 wins or less next season.

They want our spring game to be on a Tuesday night at 11:00pm in July, and they’ll put it on ESPNU.

Truthfully if there are injuries and such then best to skip it and let guys get healthy and attack the weight room.

I think the main reason is not enough o-lineman. 6-7-8 guys can’t take 400 reps

Fifth year and you can’t field a spring game. Wow
