Silver lining is that Barber will no longer wear the C. Embarrassment.

Respect your opinion, and I know you’re not alone in it on this board, but I was there tonight and you could tell how emotional he was after the loss. Sure, they could’ve played better and won and everything else, but you can’t say it didn’t matter to the kid.unfalconbelievable wrote: ↑Sat Mar 04, 2023 11:47 pm Silver lining is that Barber will no longer wear the C. 100+ point scorer. 2x Captain. From Ohio. Got his degree. Chose to come back for a 5th season when he didn’t have to because of how much this place meant to him.
Alex Barber is a Falcon for life. Time to let that grudge go, let him call it a career, and move on.

That’s low to say about a college kid. He hasn’t been arrested or anything like that to get that kind of statementunfalconbelievable wrote: ↑Sat Mar 04, 2023 11:47 pm Silver lining is that Barber will no longer wear the C. Embarrassment.

I was there and can say the team fought hard and never rolled over. Clearly not good enough and this a series we should not have lost. Attendance was pretty sad for a playoff series we knew we were hosting a week before
How often have they had the mini doughnuts there? Nice to have a somewhat local food vendor in there to mix up the options. Wish they had something like that at basketball games

Attendance was bad because of spring break. Absolutely sucks, but it’s a conflict every year.fanatic13 wrote: ↑Sun Mar 05, 2023 11:55 am I was there and can say the team fought hard and never rolled over. It wasn't students I was referencing. All sections were scarce and attendance was 1600. Looked like a Tuesday basketball game and sounded like onembenecke wrote: ↑Sun Mar 05, 2023 12:04 pmAttendance was bad because of spring break. That’s also true. It would’ve been well over 2,000 if students were in attendance, but the community didn’t really show up for this series otherwise. I’d imagine it had something to do with us winning 1 of our last 9 games heading into the weekend, which created some apathy among casual fans.fanatic13 wrote: ↑Sun Mar 05, 2023 2:00 pmIt wasn't students I was referencing. I’m starting to get tired of going to games myself. They were 1-5 with me in attendance this year, after being 3-6 last year. Getting harder to enjoy the games with how mediocre we are now.

It's Ferris State. Nobody wants to watch that kind of hockey at a level that doesn't allow fighting.

The weather on Friday was rotten. I know that doesn't make up for Saturday.

That’s also a fair point. It was absolutely dreadful weather on Friday night.TalonsUpPuckDown wrote: ↑Sun Mar 05, 2023 4:04 pm The weather on Friday was rotten. I know that doesn't make up for Saturday.
