Hey everyone! I just wanted to "check in" with you guys and say hello. Things are going well with us. Josh is training hard and anticipating (like you guys, I'm sure) what this season has in store. He has met with the new coaching staff and really likes them all. It sucks that we can't answer the question everyone asks us: Will Josh play/start this year? In all honesty, we just don't know the answer. But, he does feel like he will definitely get a fair shot and that the best guy for the job will play. Politically correct, I know, but this is honestly how he answers...even when I ask! :)
I'm sure you already know this but Josh has a website now: www.joshharrisqb.com
There's a message board on there and everything so it's pretty cool if you want to check it out. We'll keep close tabs on the posts so we can try to respond to at least some of the things people have to say. I'll be posting fairly regularly on the site with random Harris news...everything from football to personal stuff like the baby.
Things are going great with the pregnancy, for those who are interested. I'm now 30 weeks (7 months) along and cannot wait to be "done". The picture is a 3D ultrasound image of Baby Jacob that we just did yesterday. It was so awesome to finally see what this kid looks like. I'll just be glad when he gets here and I can actually see my feet again! People say I'm "small" for how far along I am, but I still feel like Shamu! So far I've only gained 12 lbs....Hence the poll....

Hopefully he'll be 6'3 210 right outta the womb. Then he can come in, get his red shirt outta the way and be a RS SO when Omar graduates. He can also play combo guard for our hoops team! :)

Great to hear you're doing well. Good luck to you on the pregnancy & Josh on the field. This Browns fan is still holding out hope that he gets a fair shot and rises to the occasion!

Personally I would prefer Jacob on the bball court.

Tammi, For your sake (and Josh's in the delivery room) I hope it is a 6lber. They grow so quickly afterwards it won't matter.

Good luck to you all.

Tami: Don't worry about your weight gain being only 12 lbs. I gained 12 with my first one and he weighed 7 lb. 12 oz. and gained 8 with my second one and she weighed 8 lbs!! Hope you are feeling well. Enjoy this time that you have alone with Jacob, it's such a neat thing to experience!!! Once he's out, you will miss it!! ....But then the REAL FUN begins!!! Thanks so much for sharing this with all of us!! We wish the best for all three of you!!!!
"Regarding BGSU, I would think their biggest strength is that they never give up, They never slow down and they battle hard even after the other team scores. We have to be on our game and never, ever take the foot off the gas for a second."

"BG was relentless. It's like they know that a good first pass on the breakout from a defenseman will almost always result in an odd-man rush against them - but they go in anyway and dare you to make that pass. All three of their goals were just grit and effort. That's a team any fan can be proud to support...they give all they've got."

Not since my birth, and the details are a touch foggy.

I should hope so! I've got to say while I haven't been there since my own birth, I'm pretty sure its safe to say I'm going to get the Epidural.

Godspeed, Tami. Sounds like a 6-7 pounder if you've only gained 12lbs. On a related note, I'm sure my wife is cursing your existance based on that fact.

*sigh* Childbirth. I remember my daughter's birth like it was just 1,249 days ago.

Yes, a very LOOOOONNNNNNNG 1,249 days it's been too!
