The one guy on the roster who I actually enjoyed watching play. Best of luck to you Rashaun. Sorry you were sold a bill of goods to come in and then relegated to bench duty.

Great. The only guy on the team that played like they cared.

All 9 returning players should enter the transfer portal. With a new coach who knows what's next? Go test the waters and then have a convo with the coach and come back.

This is probably true. See what's out there but leave the door open to returning.

Agee was a big get from the juco level. He'll find a better place but I'm surprised he didn't go to the mountain west since he played juco in Wyoming. 4 teams fighting for a tournament spot and two other solid teams.

Tough loss but I expect almost full roster turnover this year

He wasted an entire year at BG. I wish him well.
Well, fudge.

Those who know how please update us where he lands. I loved watching him the first half of the season.

Buffalo fired their head coach, Jim Whitesell.

70-49 overall and 45-27 in the MAC.

The trajectory was trending bad after 4 years, and they made a move. More proof that letting things slide into further mediocrity would’ve been a terrible idea.

That one hurts because it's one of the couple jobs I that I might put above BG in the MAC. Whitesell was making less than Huger but Hurley's extension paid him over half a million before he bolted. Oats made even more. They also have a pretty good dedication to the program from fans.

I agree with your assessment though. He won because of what he inherited and I don't think he was a good coach, was hoping they'd give him another year.

Whitesell won the race of who would last longer with Huger by 6 days. Both coaches should have been fired a year prior.

Kent pulls away late to win the MAC tournament. Kowalczyck fall just short...again

Not that it matters at all, but Jackson Watson entered the transfer portal.

Buffalo letting Whitesell go ….. Man, why are we incapable of acting in a timely fashion like that? This is exactly when we would be giving an extension instead.

Also, this means competition pretty directly for our open spot.
