Blaming the refs is a joke. Fralick got outcoached by a veteran today, she’ll learn and our program will be better for it. We got killed on switching off screens on the defensive end, and didn’t have an answer for their soft man D

Acknowledging obvious officiating issues doesn’t automatically mean blaming them for the loss. Toledo deserved to win today because they played harder and smarter. But it would’ve been a hell of a lot more interesting if we didn’t start so slow.

Agree that we’ll learn from this and get better. Lots of talent back next year that will benefit from this tournament run and a potential run in the WNIT.

:D You whiny little b*tches…. The officiating was fine. They called it close because you guys actually fouled! Fan bases never cease to amuse me on their stupidity regarding knowing the rules of basketball.

You guys didn’t hit threes. That’s why you lost. It wasn’t the officiating. Toledo played well. That was also a factor. I’d wish you well in the WNIT but you’ll probably bitch about the officiating when you lose there!

Classless comment as one would expect. Read the Launch Pad. Plenty of complaining about the officials there as well. Learn from your coach and win with class. That is a lesson that you obviously need to learn. Perhaps your parents can teach you some when you reach middle school.

There are ZERO cool Toledo grads. I’ve never met a single one I’ve liked. Every single one of them lives in mom’s basement.

42-35 in the Trash Bowl. Suck it.

Man do I agree with this….stop trying to shoot thru the Trees….teams have been double and triple ing Allison since she put up 31 on toledo.
She even mentioned this in the post game interview today.

Agree the referees weren't the issue.

I think the biggest factor was the Sharps injury. That was really a turning point in the season as our offense was never the same after that. We badly needed another shooter to stretch the D and/or punish the zone and soft man-to-man that we saw from Buffalo and Toledo.

Not to mention, we would have been 1-more deep in the rotation, which is a big deal when you play the up-tempo way we play, especially playing 3 games in 4 days.

I thought Robyn did a fantastic job with this group and we should be proud of this team for a fantastic season (which hopefully has more than a few games left!)

The officiating definitely evened out throughout the game. When I made my comment it was when there were three straight fouls called in the second quarter where the replay showed there was no contact at all. It didn't impact the result in the end.

I agree the Sharps injury is ultimately what cost BG this season. If she had stayed healthy I have no doubt we would have been the 1-seed and won the tournament. Losing her and then not having Kenzie Lewis return this season really impacted the depth.

It seems to me that Robyn could have made more substitutions when Sharps went down. Those games that we won by a large margin and by keeping the starters in wore the club down. Then, when two players get into foul trouble, there's no sub with shooting or playing experience. I'm not the coach, I didn't see them in practice, but our 7-8 player rotation looked tired. Brett went 3-13 in the finals, but at the 3 minute mark, it seemed obvious that the Falcons were not going to pull this out. Why not reward Siesel, Hempfling, Fearne, Hill and Moore with some tournament experience?

Well. I'm ready for this season to be over. So much promise and it turned to dust.

You didn't belong in the final because the officials let two fouls go in the final five seconds of your game with Buffalo. You should have been on the bus back to gangland

This is true....especially with a second left when the MAC POTY mugged the UB player and no whistle. Of course, Mugging 101 is a popular class at Bancroft High.

Sure didn't help that two Buffalo defenders decided to leave Lockett wide open for the game tying 3 near the end of regulation. I knew when TU escaped that game that the tournament was over.
