BG coaches and players were pissed off....Memphis looked like they were "Oh well...s**t happens". totally classless.

If Elissa was injured, they should press charges. Other player was a fifth year senior, so no chance for suspension and no excuse for immaturity.

I heard there was an altercation in the handshake line after the game. #23 from Memphis leveled Brett, from what I heard.

Not shocking, to be honest. Their vibe the entire night was whiny and their body language was terrible. Dirty stuff, man.

Was at the game. Wow! Looked like Brett walked off on her own but was down on the floor for quite a bit. 30 pt lead. Very nice.

Didn’t see that. Shutes elbowed Brett in the face during the game that was reviewed for a flagrant.

She and Brett were tangled up a few times during the game. Brett had her completely flustered and she threw multiple elbows throughout the rest of the game that were uncalled for.

The game was physical all the way through, but Memphis crossed the line. Their players, coaches, and fans should be embarrassed.

I think they are buy games for the men’s CBI and CIT tournaments.

I'm guessing the most likely reason we're hosting is because Florida is Florida. They've got a lot more going on with their athletics to worry about hosting a women's NIT basketball game.

Regardless, we'll take it!

Time to get revenge for March 17, 1993 when we lost at home to Florida 69-67 in the NCAA Tournament.
