Maybe at the Stroh. I was at sold out Anderson for the Florida game in 93. That place held more than 5k.

Columbus up 57-52 after three. BG made a late push and cut it to 3 late.

Gonna have to come back and win it in the 4th. Keep going, Falcons.

I’m just going off what the program said in a tweet. And a quick Wikipedia search says that The House That Roars only held 4,700, believe it or not.

But they have now adjusted the total to 4,155, which is the record for the Stroh and the second largest in program history.

6:22 left, Columbia clinging to a 4 point lead.

Gotta keep going. Need someone to step up and knock down some shots.

BG trails 72-63 with 3:02 to play.

Just a few too many collapses defensively leading to wide open shots from Columbia, and we couldn’t knock down enough good looks of our own.

It’s over. Heck of a run.

Just not good enough tonight. But an unbelievable, historic season for this program.

Now to see what’s next…

Not happy with many calls, but my god could Columbia hit shots when they needed to. And we could not shoot tonight to save our lives.

These nights happen. At one point, we had Davis trapped, back to the basket, swarmed outside the 3 point line with the clock running out. She spun and nailed a double teamed fade away 3 pointer. You can not defend that any better.

I’d rather have seen us hit a few more shots like normal . Maybe have another solid 3 point shooter (instead of losing them in January?). But I will take this. We played hard. We played well. We just couldn't sink the shots and they did.

Looking at teh stats, I am reminded of the FDU FAU game in the round oif 32 in the men’s NCAA. Both teams played a very similar style, but FAU was a couple inches taller at every position.

WE destroyed them on turnovers, they destroyed us on rebounds. And then simply shot over us.

Congrats to them on a fantastic season. Definitely out shot tonight with only 36 percent. Looking forward to next year already. GO FALCONS!!!!

Tough end to a great year....

Looks like we lose Day, Kadie and Moore. Dziekan needs to step up in the post next year

Dziekan and Hill both showed improvement throughout the year. Especially Dziekan with her footwork. Clearly learned somethings from Day. We also gain a 6'5" commit who has a nice touch around the basket, so hopefully that will help, too.

I wonder about whether Elissa Brett and Morgan Sharps plan to play a 5th year or not. Those would be huge additions to next year's squad if they choose to run it back.

Of course, the elephant in the room is the decision Fralick might have to make here. And if she leaves, the question becomes whether players follow her to her next stop, which would significantly hinder our opportunity to build on this run.

I'm really hopeful that we somehow get all of our pieces to return so we can have a special season next year. Because it really could be an all-timer.

What a great atmosphere and game last night...Columbia always had an answer and hit big shot after big shot. They had 25 turnovers and still won. I hope they kick the sheet outta Kansas. I think we just ran outta gas. But what a GREAT season!! With Coach Simon now with the men, perhaps the Stroh Center will see crowds like this on regular basis. And if that was Coach Fralick's last game with BG, I wish her the absolute best as she has been a gem....and then go straight back to Ashland U and grab that coach. 36-0 this year.

From the sounds of her senior night introduction it doesn't sound like Brett will be back. She had stated that she was looking forward to going back home to Australia and possibly playing professionally overseas.

Sharps did not participate in senior night so I would imagine she would be back if the coaching staff remains intact.

Australia has a pretty established professional league in the WNBL. The salaries aren't extravagant, but Brett could make 40-50k in a relatively short season and still play elsewhere in Europe or Asia. I'd love for her to have another year here because she would be a POTY candidate next season, but four years being 10,000 miles away from home has to be pretty rough.
