To dovetail with the above...this is a much more attractive job than it was when Roos was dismissed. An up and coming coach with D1HC experience might view this as an opportunity to springboard to a high major gig

Similarly, an assistant coach from a big-time program might view this as a positive move now. Even if it means a slight pay cut (and honestly, I have no idea what Power 5 assistant coaches make), this program is in a pretty good place right now. It could be viewed as an attractive landing spot for someone looking for his or her first D-I head-coaching job.

New coach is being announced today from what I've heard.
