Re: Offseason 2023
McMahon's blurb about Nodler and Ozar:
"Nodler’s game is well-rounded. His point totals were the lowest of his career this past season, but he averaged 13 points (5g, 8a average) over his sophomore and junior year."
"Ozar is fun to watch, and he has offensive potential. He was in a logjam of talented forwards at Denver, so his role wasn’t to produce offense. But he had 40 goals and 52 assists over two seasons in the BCHL, and he posted 34 points (15g, 19a) for Waterloo (USHL) in 2020-21."

Stoever doesn't come across too good in this otherwise positive article.

All is for the best in this best of all possible worlds.
Re: Offseason 2023
Swankler officially being back is terrific news.
And I’m okay with that from Stoever. Guys need to know the situation so they can make the best decision for themselves. Maybe it’s confrontational, but he’s just trying to be successful. Kudos to Eigner for being honest and guiding the program through it.

Updated!
Edit: Looks like Tommy Pasanen was a freshman redshirt and has 2 YOEs remaining. Updated.

Rose coming back would have meant potentially 5 goaltenders on the roster, with 3 challenging for the number 1 spot. If you're Stoever, that's not a situation you want to be in. His agent/advisor was probably already telling him about other opportunities that weren't going to be such a cluster-f. If there was a pro opportunity, it may have disappeared within a couple days.

We chased him from the game twice this season, so I'm not worried. Bring it on.TalonsUpPuckDown wrote: ↑Fri Apr 14, 2023 12:47 pm Tech just announced that the important Pietila is back next season.

Not sure who has seen this but I learned some cool things about Scooter. Stick taps to the Schneider brothers.

Good questions by the Schneider brothers. I think Scooter should be a regular. He does well in front of the camera.TalonsUpPuckDown wrote: ↑Tue Apr 18, 2023 10:55 am Not sure who has seen this but I learned some cool things about Scooter. Stick taps to the Schneider brothers.

Scooter hasn't changed in 27 years. From the first time I met him, to watching that video, it's who he is.Tricky_Falcon wrote: ↑Tue Apr 18, 2023 12:56 pmGood questions by the Schneider brothers. Re: Offseason 2023
Miami released their schedule yesterday, with no other Ohio teams on it...
If the past two seasons are any indication, BG's should be released in about a month or so.

Speaking of Miami, CHN suggesting it's time for them and the NCHC to divorce.

I'll believe ASU to the CCHA long before I'll believe Miami tucking tail and trying to come crawling back.jpfalcon09 wrote: ↑Fri Apr 21, 2023 7:08 pmSpeaking of Miami, CHN suggesting it's time for them and the NCHC to divorce.
