Hopefully...we won't lose any of the incoming freshmen...esp Kennedy Blair
Mary Meng has recommitted to Michigan State.
She did sign a LOI right? I guess that means little in current times.
When a coach leaves now, players can ask to be released from their LOI without penalty. She must've done that.
Guess it was a trade of Meng for $400K.

As a 6-5 post, Meng was a unicorn for us. Really hopee we keep Blair though...she was a Miss Basketball finalist and the D2 POY in Michigan

Meng probably didn’t consider that Chmiel developed or help develop the BEST 6’5” player in the COUNTRY! 😂😂

Hopefully Chmiel will be able to keep one from the old guard while filling out the rest with his own folks. Perhaps pull someone up from SC. Could never hurt to have more people from that kind of program on board.

Pretty sure Cameron, Kasza, Whymer and Rosati are all heading to Michigan State.

I really hope we keep Blair, too, but as a Michigan native I imagine she would prefer Michigan State (and the coaches she originally committed to play for) over Bowling Green.

Do you realize Mo has been with the program since the Curt Miller days and that her husband teaches at BGSU?

There's likely a reason why these players committed to a MAC school to begin with. They didn't suddenly become Big Ten caliber players just because of a coaching change. :P

Exactly. The coaching changes are the coaching changes. If players recruits go elsewhere so be it. Just keep Lexi Fleming.

You sound a bit like an OSU snob...:) We've had our share of B1G caliber players in basketball here before...players with opportunities to play "high major".

This article states that Meng is the only member of Fralick's 2023 recruitment class that will follow her to MSU. Whether that's true or not who knows but it is a hint as to what is happening.

It's stated pretty bluntly, so I would imagine the reporter was told it as a fact. I would anticipate that Blair and Riddle will both be coming to BG.

I've gotten the impression that a solid number, including Fleming and Velasco, are remaining at BG. Fleming has actually seemed pretty stoked on the hire, so far.

I believe the majority of the roster will remain together. I'm just pointing out who in my opinion is the most important to keep in that locker room. See the record with Fleming vs. without.

Anybody know the condition of her knee (Lexi)?
Needs operation, needs rehab, needs rest, will play with brace??
