Based on fan feedback, too. I love that he wants our opinions on things. Makes me feel included and want to come back, because it's obvious that we matter.

Dude spent over 15 mins with me on the phone a couple months ago to discuss the state of BG hoops and changes that needed made. He's already started making those changes.

Seeing this list of things they're going to be doing to the Doyt I'm hopeful that they'll start doing similar for the basketball fan experience.

It took us how many ADs and over a decade to finally realize that UT is selling tix/parking/concession voucher combos and bringing in 100s if not 1000s of additional fans for it? Praise jeebus that we finally have an AD willing to actually look around and recognize what sucks and try to FIX IT. I'm sure there will be growing pains. I'm sure there will be some changes that just don't work and will need kinks ironed out. But at least he's TRYING to invoke change.

Those boxes look awesome and fun! Let's people tailgate and watch the game. Also helps sell even if there is a time conflict with ohio st or Michigan type teams. I would have to think this is a unique club seating option that no other schools have or at least a high majority don't have. Hopefully the weather doesn't cause too many problems with these

Glad they added parking and concession options to the ticket packs. Has to suck to buy a falcon four pack then realize you have to buy more to park

I feel like most of us on these forums could have been a better AD than what we’ve come accustomed to for the most of the last ~20 years.

FINALLY an AD that wants to do his job and do it well! Not just hold the title and collect a salary for themselves and their crew.

I think the AD’s wanted to be successful but we’re often held back or held themselves back. I remember talking with a marketing guy in the late 80’s who could have easily sold ads on the boards in the Ice Arena. Donors, alums and therefore the AD, Jack Gregory, didn’t like how that would look. As money becomes more necessary and times have changed its time to go beyond what a few influential people think is proper.
I proudly chose to be a Falcon and a Falcon I will remain until the end.

What held back BGSU since 2014? Con Man Kit Hughes ego drove the majority of the decision making after Chris Kingstons ego left for Learfield.

I’m sure they will be expensive. Probably something like the equivalent of 25 tickets and then some, for the food and bar, and the experience.

Steve Lubischer has committed to BG out of the portal.

He was a dual threat QB out of high school, going to Boston College. But it seems like he immediately switched positions to defensive back, as he is listed as a DB in his commitment, and shown as a safety in other places.

If nothing else, a depth signing from a P5 school with 22 games of experience under his belt. Not huge stats, but not shocking from a guy who switched positions. I guess we’ll see what happens with him in fall camp.
