Just look at how we all know the face and words of the FDU coach...his quotes and actions will live forever and will almost certainly be his catalyst to a better job if he has another year or two of success.

I don't live in a world where I realistically think MAC has a snowball's chance in hell of playing a meaningful college football game in January, but even if they did I'd find it tough to believe we could WIN said game which is what would be required to match what FDU (and countless others) pull off every March.
FDU’s coach took the Iona job today. You’re exactly right.

Saw that, guess I was off by a year!

He’s not. They have an interim.

But he did do a local radio interview in Utah today to talk about the move to BG and how he’s rooting for Southern Utah. It definitely seems like they left on fantastic terms.

I believe the FDU coach already has a new job. Tobin Anderson is the new coach at Iona.

Didn't know if starting new thread was best, so decided to post here...

I see Todd Simon is a speaker at the upcoming NABC Spring 2023 Coaching Clinic in Nashville in May. His topic is "Offensive System: Incorporating our break & half court man offense"

These clinics are a great recruiting tool as your audience would be high school [mostly], middle school, youth, and AAU coaches. My guess is you will have some coaches drive in from states surrounding TN as well. Coach Simon appears to get the value of building relationships. He probably will make recruiting visits while he is in the Nashville area that week.

I like what I see so far from him.

For some reason, I find the fact that an organization would ask him to speak on anything related to a "half court offense" very encouraging. I wonder why?
