Some opening still out there within the men's and women's programs. Not to mention a strength coach for football

I’m hoping he adds a mixture of youth and experience to round the guards out. As of right now Agee, Spurgin, Thomas and Towns are the only guys on roster with significant D1 experience.
One-year rentals are fine in this situation. You don't want to give a 4-year "contract" (I know they can cancel at any time) to a freshman who isn't worthy.
At this point, I'd be surprised if he doesn't add a couple one-year rentals. There are simply too many holes on the roster.

He scored 9.8 points per game at Maryland-Eastern Shore in the MEAC last season. Shot 33% from three. 80% free throws. I think he will have 2 seasons of eligibility.

Seems at first glance like an inefficient guy with potential. Definitely strikes me as a depth piece.

3pt shooting went from abysmal to bad in three years

We shot 34% as a team last year, with a majority of guys being in the 20s. He would've been our 4th best shooter from three last year. Lol

Improved shooting percentages each year. Also has decent assist and steal numbers and seems to take care of the ball. Good pickup who will fit into the rotation. Also like having a 6'5" guard who can handle the ball. Could see him being a bit like Antwon Lillard.

So he played 3 years but didn't play 20-21....so does he have 1 or 2 years left?

73 career starts. Gotta like that.

Looks really good. Nice length, good stroke, athletic, attacks the basket....almost exactly what I said about the other 2 bigger wings we signed.

4 more to go.

Maryland Eastern Shore opted out of playing the 2020-21 season so I'm not sure how that would affect the eligibility of the players on their roster that season. So this could be a one-year rental using his COVID year unless he gets another because UMES didn't play a season

^This.

Let's see what Simon's offense can produce in the way of open looks. That always helps shooting percentages. I'm cautiously optimistic for team shooting improvement over what has been happening in the recent past.

The 20-21 school year did not count against any player who played. A player only gets to play 5 years if that season was one of them.

Ayers had inefficient numbers coming into BG but had one of the most statistically efficient seasons in memory.

Don't read too much into statistics in these situations. We're talking about 18-20 yos playing in various systems.
