With him being a business major, I would assume he came here to work on his masters while playing basketball. Business program coming through for us! I read in his bio that he wants to play professionally (overseas, more than likely) and then become an agent to represent players.

His highlights make him look like a shooter, but as you guys have said the numbers don’t look great. Hopefully Simon can improve that in his offense. I like he size and length but he doesn’t look incredibly athletic, even in highlights he struggled to win off the dribble and doesn’t look like he gets off the floor very well.

It's not the fall that hurts...it's when you hit the ground.

He was Tuesday’s player, yes. But Simon teased another player commitment after that, saying we now had 6 new Falcons.

I only count 5, currently.

Da’shawn Phillip, Trey Thomas, DaJion Humphrey, Jason Spurgin, and PJ Edwards.

I like that coach Simon is getting excited about getting a commitment! All these little things stack up and set the tone for the culture in your program. Good signs early on here. I think it will translate to the floor in the fall. Ay Ziggy!

I agree. I know I was told it didn't matter when I mentioned how much more active he was on Twitter. No, it won't directly translate to wins, but it is a helluva lot more fun to follow the team with this sort of engagement from the coach.

JUCO All-American at Southern Union State. Averaged 26 points per game on 49% from the field and 27% from three. Also grabbed 7.5 rebounds per game and added 4 assists per game.

He's listed as a 6'3 guard from Chicago.

G- Thomas or Hill
G- Edwards or Phillip
G/F- Humphrey or McComb
F- Agee/ Towns/ Felt
C- Spurgin

Looks to be 3 available. Have to really like the additions so far. Another true big, maybe a small forward and I'll always take another guard.

This guy’s tape is pretty impressive. He looks like a score first PG, beats people off the dribble, very good on the pick and roll. I don’t think I saw a single 3 in his highlight video but it looks like he has a great pull up midrange J. He’s a lefty on his J but seems to use his right most of the time around the rim and he has that great pull up to his right like many lefties do. It’s just a highlight video and it’s against other JUCO guys but this guy has the most impressive skill set of any of the new guys in my opinion.
